Dante at the Calder Bookshop

I hope you will be able to join us for an exceptional Thursday night reading at the Calder Bookshop tomorrow. Prize-winning translator JG Nichols – who has translated some of the greatest masterpieces of Italian literature in recent years, from Petrarch to D'Annunzio, and from Foscolo to Verga – will talk about his translation of Dante's lyrics (the only edition currently available in the English language) and read some of his translations.
